The relationship between parents and school is a central topic that is defined in different ways within educational research. In addition to a difference-theoretical approach, there are also contributions that highlight overlapping spheres between family and school. Against this background, this anthology focuses on the relationships between parents and school. The focus here is on expectations, approaches and/or orientations from a parental or school perspective. A central question here is which referential relationships between parents and schools can be reconstructed from the perspective of parents and schools.
