The third volume of the series brings together selected academic contributions that address current issues in medical and biolaw. The texts were developed as part of a two-semester research seminar conducted in cooperation between the Faculty of Law at the Georg-August University and the University Medical Center Göttingen, reflecting both the thematic diversity and the dynamic development of this interdisciplinary field. The individual essays offer different perspectives and invite readers to critically engage with key topics—among them questions of emergency and intensive care medicine, infection control, patient autonomy, as well as issues related to informed consent, the beginning of life, and the end of life. Taken together, the contributions present a multifaceted picture of current debates at the intersection of medicine and law.
